BBA: Bachelor of Business Administration

 

The Department of Business Administration offers a 4-year Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree. To become a graduate in this field one has to complete 130 credits.
 

About The  Program

The objective of this Program is to provide students with a solid and well-rounded education in Business. It is a rigorous Program, the completion of which not only will be a considerable personal achievement, but a key part of self-development.  In addition to the basic functional courses leading to a major in the Business Administration program, students are required to take mandatory courses in the following areas: economics, behavioral sciences, law, statistics, operational research, international finance and management, computer studies, organizational models and behaviors and MIS. The contents of these courses are in line with the rapidly changing business world and are based on theoretical, practical and model case studies.

Accounting, Management, Finance, Marketing, Human Resource Management (HRM) and Management Information Systems (MIS).

Professional BBA, MBA and EMBA degree holders can buildup their career as Operation Management Executive, Business Planning Consultant, Office Administrator, Manager and Confident leaders who are superb-solvers plus skilled and critical in analysis and thinking. A business organization without the right touch of an excellent manager will see many unsolved problems. The students can also be employed in government and semi-government offices, Group of Companies, Banks and Insurance Companies and also other private and multinational organizations.

Entry Requirements

 

Minimum 2nd division or GPA 2.5 in both SSC and HSC or equivalent examinations or 'O' Level in five subjects and 'A' Level in two major subjects with minimum 'C' grade in each or US high school diploma/GED.

Program Duration

GUB introduces three semesters (each semester of 4-month) in an academic year. Therefore, the whole program can be completed in 12 semesters (i.e. 4 years).
