Cultural Club
Green University of Bangladesh attaches utmost importance in
organizing cultural activities and to encourage the students to
cultivate their hidden genius in various fields of culture such
as games & sports, music, painting, debate, recitation,
literature, linguistics and so on. The Cultural Club continues
its efforts to motivate the students to involve themselves in
various cultural activities of their interest. It intends to
recognize the promising cultural activities and provide means
for their inherent talents to blossom. Performers can thus have
expressions of their creativity through teamwork. Throughout the
year, there are many interesting programs for students. Each
event helps to contribute to their personal and intellectual
growths, promotes an artistic and cultural atmosphere within the
University and encourages interaction between counselors,
teachers and students. These activities include seminars,
symposia, movie screenings, workshops, exhibitions, parties and
festival-based events.

Debating Club
GUB Debating Club is the first student activity club at GUB
which has brought national and international recognition to the
university through student activities. It is the leading club in
terms of earning competitive laurels against other institutions.
The missions and goals of this club are to promote the art of
debating and public speaking among the students of the
university, to train members in the art of reasoning and
sharpening the skills of their logical thinking, to develop
self-efficacy and confidence and to enhance the general
knowledge base. Principal activities of this club include inter
alias, organizing Intra GUB debates in english and bengali every
year on various current issues, arranging workshops on debates
and organizing or helping in arranging various Inter-University
Debate Competitions.

English Club
English Club provides a platform for students to develop their
skill in english. The students have little opportunity for
interaction in english in the society. The english club will
provide them opportunity for interaction as well as enhance
their skill in reading, writing and speaking english.
Those who are fond of writing creatively in English will be
encouraged participate in the English Club. The goals of this
club are to unite students with particular gift and interest in
creative writing and give them a forum for discussion and
participation, to organize poetry-reading sessions and literary
seminars where well known local writers, poets and dramatists
are invited to participate.

Business Club
The mission and vision of GUB Business Club is to provide
opportunities to develop skill, experience, and education within
the business field to its members both in their academic fields
and the business world at large. The Business Club is open to
all students who are interested in business. The club hosts
events, such as, address by guest speakers, and leading
entrepreneurs, visit to leading industrial and trade fairs,
organize job fairs etc.

Entrepreneurship Club
The GUB Entrepreneurship Club is a dynamic member-based
organization dedicated to connecting students with other
students, local entrepreneurs, professors and other support
organizations, providing entrepreneurship and business
development education, and encouraging entrepreneurship among
GUB students. The purpose of the Entrepreneurship Club is to
foster entrepreneurship on campus by introducing, cultivating,
and enabling the fulfillment of entrepreneurial ambitions.

Games and Sports Club
The overall objective of the club is to develop sports habit
among students and to train well-qualified sportsmen being able
to participate in national teams and to play in the league.
Successful sportsmen and players are granted with university
scholarship and they are able to use all the facilities provided
by the university. In addition, we assist improving all other
branches by taking active role in the sports activities held at
GUB.

Computer Club
GUB Computer Club is a forum for the students interested in
Information Technology. Since 2003, Computer Club has been a
vital forum for the exchange of information and ideas about IT
and for building friendship among students who want to build
their career in IT. Computer Club offers a good number of
publications, seminars, tutorials, and software exhibitions-
everything the students need to have in the future without
losing touch with their friends. The goals of this club are to
create and evaluate a mood of understanding between the job
markets of Bangladesh and the computer science students of GUB,
to promote the principles of skilled workforce and technical
leaders of future, to provide a forum for the open discussion of
all matters of academic and technical interest (related with IT)
and to develop international relationship through opening and
maintaining ACM and IEEE student chapter.

Health Club
The university has a well instrumental and well-arranged health
club. Beside study the health club may play a vital role to
develop consciousness of students.

Social Service Club
The Social Service Club of GUB was established in spring 2003.
Its main objective is to stand beside the needy people. The main
idea behind the establishment of this club was not to help the
few well off, but to be with those who need assistance the most.
The leading activities of the Social Service Club are blood
donation program, fund raising drive for people affected by
natural calamities, relief distribution program during natural
disaster, and social awareness program like literacy program and
drug awareness program.
