The inaugural
session of the first workshop of Matelea Gonocarpa, the Computer
Club of GCC has been conducted on last 13.09.07 at 2.30 pm. Mrs.
Shahin Mahmuba Hoque, honorable Executive Director Governing
Council was the Chief Guest. Professor Dr. M. Mokbul Ahmed Khan,
Vice Chairman of the Governing Council and Treasurer was present
as an honorable guest. Honorable Vice-chancellor was the Chair.
All the Faculty Members and students were present in the
inaugural session of the workshop on ‘Hardware Configuration,
Level 01’. Honorable Chief Guest congratulated the club for
starting its journey. She shared her views that nobody can be
proper educated without the knowledge of the computer. She
presented a multi-media projector to the club. The
Vice-chancellor told the necessity of the computer in this era.
Honorable guest Professor Dr. M. Mokbul Ahmed Khan, Vice
Chairman of the Governing Council and Treasurer, congratulated
on the sequential development of the students in the
extra-curricular sector. Professor Dr. Samsul Alam, Dean, School
of Science and Engineering explained the importance of the
workshop. The President of the Green Central Club thanked all
the concerns to participate in the program. After a light
refreshment, the audience enjoyed a film show on the big screen.
