MBM: Master in
Bank Management

Objectives of the
Program
The MBM program is a newly launched field of study of Green
University of Bangladesh. This is a 7 semester/28 months program.
The students are required to complete 21 courses (including one
project report / practical orientation report)/63 credit hours i.e.
3 courses / 9 credit hours in each semester of four months duration.
The Banking sector
of Bangladesh has been developing rapidly, resulting in more job
opportunities for well-groomed manpower. The MBM program has been
designed to fulfill the needs of banks for trained manpower. The
program will not only increase the basic knowledge and confidence of
the MBM students who are willing to develop their career in banking
sector or already in the banking services but will eventually help
develop their career as bank executives by facilitating higher
education in bank management.

Entry Requirements |
|
A graduate in any field of study
with no third division or class in any certificate/ degree
examination is eligible to apply for admission to the MBM
program. The suitable students will be selected on merit basis
through an admission test focusing on english proficiency,
mathematics and analytical ability. Candidates having at least 2
years experience in any financial institution will be given
preference for admission into MBM program. |

requirement for awarding MBM degree in 2 (Out of 4 point scale),

The in-service students are
required to submit one project paper on any subject of
banking, after conducting a full-fledged research and the
fresh students will undergo practical orientation training
in any bank on which they are required to prepare and
present a report, following standard research report writing
formats. For preparing the reports, the students will be
guided by guide teachers. The reports will be evaluated
jointly by internal and external evaluators. |
